Fear of prosecution has led many polygamist families to hide paternity. No one in the Brown family has specifically revealed whether Kody is listed as the father of his children with Janelle Brown and Christine Brown. Still, on <em>Sister Wives</em>, Kody once suggested he would not consent to a then-mino<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sister-wives-3-times-kody-brown-neglected-daughter-ysabels-needs-robyn.html/”>r Ysabel Brown having surgery</a>. He seemed under the impression that he had a legal say, suggesting he was considered her legal father. It’s entirely possible that was all talk on Kody’s part, though.</p>
<p id=”par-6_87″>If he is now listed on their birth certificates, it is unclear if Kody’s name was always included or if he was added later. Some people believe that since Christine has to establish paternity, he is not listed as Truely’s father on legal documents. That may be the case.
