<p id=”par-1_64″>After <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/king-charles-says-wont-see-a-long-distant-future-following-cancer-battle.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>King Charles</a> stripped Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of his <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/king-charles-just-put-his-foot-down-as-andrew-can-no-longer-use-prince-title-and-must-leave-royal-lodge-home.html/”>remaining titles and evicted him</a> from his Royal Lodge home in Windsor, the ex-prince moved to another property on his older brother’s Sandringham estate. After being photographed a number of times on the grounds, Andrew was reportedly told to keep out of sight and hasn’t been seen much at all since <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/not-so-royal-andrew-mountbatten-windsor-treated-11-hours-under-arrest.html/”>his arrest</a> on Feb. 19.</p>
<p id=”par-2_58″>Sources have said that Andrew is now living in <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/royal-exile-king-charles-refused-see-brother-andrew-despite-staying-just-five-minutes-away.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>royal exile</a>, and it’s not a secret that the former Duke of York doesn’t have visitors stopping by his Marsh Farm residence. But now a new report claims that King Charles has asked his brother to join the family in something they do each year, and he declined. </p>

<p id=”par-3_57″>Despite the definitive links and continuing accusations connecting Andrew to Jeffrey Epstein, the monarch has invited his younger brother to join the family for their annual holiday break at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. However, according to a friend of Andrew, the disgraced royal refused to accept the invite because he “feels he’s been abandoned” by the family.</p>
<p id=”par-4_64″>“He feels like he is no longer part of the family,” the friend told <a href=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/royals/40087308/shamed-andrew-rejects-royal-balmoral-invite/?utm_source=sharebar_app&utm_medium=sharebar_app&utm_campaign=sharebar_app_article”>The Sun</a>. “[Andrew] was invited but has got no great desire to be at Balmoral as he has nothing to gain and would be treated as an outcast. What’s the point, he feels, of going all the way there for a much-needed holiday and being treated as an elephant in the room?”</p>
<p id=”par-5_24″>So around 30 family members will be headed to the Scottish estate in the coming weeks, but Andrew won’t be one of them. </p>

<p id=”par-6_33″>This news comes after Andrew had reportedly been chatting to people that he wants to return to his royal duties or at least have a role in the family in some capacity.</p>
<p id=”par-7_80″>“He believes it’s wrong and foolish for the king to be wasting his expertise,” an insider shared with <a href=”https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/celebrity/articles/ex-prince-andrew-pushing-unofficial-100040817.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Examiner</a>. “He’s not shy in complaining that the family has gone to pieces in the wake of his mother’s death. In [Andrew’s] mind, Charles is out of his depth right now. And this deepening gulf between him and William, plus the farcical situation involving the Sussexes, is proof that a shift in approach is critical in order for everyone to move forward.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_47″>It’s highly unlikely that Andrew will have any type of role in the family ever again. But it still doesn’t seem smart on his part to snub the king when he’s offering an olive branch, especially when that gesture probably wasn’t too popular amongst other royals. </p>
