<p id=”par-2_64″>The F/V Cornelia Marie is one of the most storied <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/deadliest-catch-boats-season-20.html/”>boats in the <em>Deadliest Catch </em>fleet</a>. The 35-year-old fishing vessel first appeared on the show in season 2, when it was <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/deadliest-catch-captain-phil-harris-told-son-get-out-fishing-before-death.html/”>captained by Phil Harris</a>. Murray Gamrath, Derrick Ray, Tony Lara, Josh Harris, and Casey McManus have also been at the helm of the ship, which last appeared on <em>Deadliest Catch </em>in season 18.</p>
<p id=”par-3_63″>It’s been a few years since fans saw the F/V Cornelia Marie on TV. But in mid-June 2024, some news of the boat resurfaced on social media. Taylor Jensen was previously a deckhand on the Cornelia Marie and appeared on multiple seasons of <em>Deadliest Catch. </em>In a June 15 <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C8TfSm2uXN0/?hl=en&img_index=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post, he revealed that he was now a co-owner of the Cornelia Marie. </p>
<p id=”par-4_28″>“First shipyard as partners in this big blue piece of steel #Bristolbaybound,” he captioned a photo of himself and another person standing in front of the Cornelia Marie. </p>
<p id=”par-5_20″>Jensen’s followers were quick to ask if this meant he and the Cornelia Marie might be back on <em>Deadliest Catch. </em></p>
<p id=”par-6_22″>“Do you think the boat will be back on the show. Be nice to see it on TV again,” one person wrote. </p>
<p id=”par-7_12″>“How awesome would it be if discovery brings it back,” another commented.</p>
<p id=”par-8_14″>“Congratulations this boat is very special and has many great memories,” another person observed. </p>

<p id=”par-9_23″>Though the Cornelia Marie has a long history on <em>Deadliest Catch, </em>the boat has not been seen on the show since 2022. <strong> </strong></p>
<p id=”par-10_51″>In season 18, McManus and Josh Harris were co-owners of the Cornelia Marie. But they didn’t return for season 19, which aired in 2023. Harris – who is the son of legendary <em>Deadliest Catch </em>captain Phil Harris – was fired from the show after reports of disturbing sexual allegations against him. </p>
<p id=”par-11_48″>In 2022, information surfaced that in 1998, Harris had been accused of raping a four-year-old child. He eventually pleaded guilty to one count of Fourth Degree Assault and one count of Communicating with a Minor for Immoral Purposes, <a href=”https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/6176850/deadliest-catch-josh-harris-fired-sexual-assault-girl/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Sun</a> reported. Soon after, Discovery cut ties with Harris. </p>
<p id=”par-12_27″>“We’ve been made aware of this issue. Josh will not appear in future episodes of this series,” a representative for the network told <a href=”https://radaronline.com/p/discovery-cuts-deadliest-catch-star-josh-harris/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>RadarOnline.com</a> in September 2022. </p>
<p id=”par-13_22″>Harris’s partner <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/deadliest-catch-captain-casey-mcmanus.html/”>McManus also left the show</a>. He has a new job running tug boats, according to updates on his social media. </p>
