<p id=”par-1_45″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/travis-kelce/”>Travis Kelce</a> is “growing up” after leaving his “Peter Pan” era since he started dating <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/taylor-swift/”>Taylor Swift</a>. The Kansas City City Chiefs tight end’s brother, Jason Kelce, has said that while his “youthful enthusiasm” is still there the NFL star’s <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-entering-very-good-period-relationship-according-dad.html/”>relationship with Swift</a> is “different.” </p>

<p id=”par-2_36″>During a Feb. 18, 2025, appearance on the <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgTdUQoBrzw” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>“Fitz & Whit”</a> podcast, Jason reflected on how far his brother, 35, has come in recent years. Specifically, since he started dating Swift in the summer of 2023. </p>
<p id=”par-3_40″>“He was like Peter Pan, the Lost Boys,” Jason said of his brother before the Grammy winner entered his life. “I think that sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you…That’s a good thing.” </p>
<p id=”par-4_42″>Jason continued, saying that while Kelce’s matured, his “youthful enthusiasm” hasn’t gone away. “He is growing up. He’s still got that youthful enthusiasm,” Jason said of his brother. “I think he’ll kind of always have that. That’s just part of his personality.” </p>
<p id=”par-5_38″>“And I think it’s one of the reasons that every teammate has loved playing with him,” Jason added. “Everybody that’s met Trav, you can’t help but love the guy. He’s a free spirit in the best possible way.” </p>

<p id=”par-6_29″>During the Feb. 21, 2025, episode of<a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIEP19qN6B4″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”> “The Steam Room</a>” podcast, Jason discussed his brother’s romance with Swift, saying he knew immediately it was “different” from Kelce’s past relationships. </p>
<p id=”par-7_44″>“I think this felt different,” Jason said. “What also felt different is just the way he talks about her and talked about her from the moment he was with her. You could tell how much he really, really liked her, right from the get-go.” </p>
<p id=”par-8_28″>“I think that the level early on in that was something that was very eye-opening to me when we first had discussions,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles center added. </p>
<p id=”par-9_45″>Later on the podcast, the 37-year-old shared how he’d reacted to first hearing the news his brother and Swift were dating. “I remember just being like, ‘Are you kidding me?’” Jason recalled. “‘Like…you’re hanging out with Taylor Swift. Like, that’s insane. That’s awesome for you.’”</p>

<p id=”par-11_95″>Jason’s comments on his brother’s relationship with Swift come on the heels of yet more talk of a possible engagement between the “Fortnight” singer and three-time Super Bowl winner. In a <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/travis-kelce-may-propose-taylor-swift-upcoming-vacation-insider-says.html/”>February 2025 report</a>, an insider told Us Weekly that Kelce might propose to Swift during an upcoming vacation.<br><br>“Those close to them actually think [Travis may do it] while they’re on vacation.” As for where he might pop the question, “Taylor wants to go to multiple places in Europe and somewhere tropical.” So any one of those could be the place for a potential proposal. </p>
<p id=”par-12_31″>A second insider shared that both Kelce and Swift are ready to get more serious. “They are both on the same page about taking the next step,” the second source said. </p>
