<p id=”par-1_65″>It’s a battle of the exes at <a href=”https://cheatsheet.com/tag/hgtv”>HGTV</a>. Former <em>Flip or Flop </em>stars <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/hgtv-star-christina-haack-apologizes-tarek-el-moussa-problems-relationship-really-sorry.html/”>Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa</a> will face off in <em>The Flip Off, </em>premiering Jan. 25. The one-time couple will compete to see who can bag the biggest flip. On hand to judge their efforts will be various reality stars, including one of Christina’s other ex-husbands – Ant Anstead of <em>Wheeler Dealers. </em></p>

<p id=”par-2_55″>For nearly a decade, Tarek and Christina starred in HGTV’s hit series <em>Flip or Flop. </em>In 2013, the then-married couple turned their business of flipping houses in Orange County into reality TV gold. Even though their marriage ended in 2017, the show continued for several more years, finally <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/christina-haack-bittersweet-news-flip-or-flop-ending-10-seasons-hgtv.html/”>wrapping up its 10-season run in 2022</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-3_118″>Since <em>Flip or Flop </em>ended, both Tarek and Christina have continued with solo HGTV shows. She stars in <em>Christina on the Coast, </em>while he and his new wife, <em>Selling Sunset </em>star Heather Rae El Moussa, appear on <em>The Flipping El Moussas. </em>Now, the former couple will share the screen again in a new, six-episode show that challenges each to find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain. Tarek will compete as part of a team with Heather, while Christina is on her own. (She was originally supposed to appear on the show with her estranged husband Josh Hall.) The winner gets bragging rights as well as a first-class vacation paid for by the loser. </p>

<p id=”par-4_42″>While Josh Hall won’t be seen on <em>The Flip Off, </em>another one of Christina’s former husbands will be part of the show. Ant Anstead and Christina were married from December 2018 to September 2020. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/ant-anstead-shares-son-christina-hall-2-kids.html/”>They have one child</a>, a boy named Hudson. </p>
<p id=”par-5_62″>Anstead will be one of the handpicked special guest judges who evaluate Tarek and Christina’s work. Other judges include <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/rhoc-star-terry-dubrow-wife-heather-dubrow-ozempic-use.html/”>Heather Dubrow from <em>The Real Housewives of Orange County</em></a><em>, </em>Amanza Smith from <em>Selling Sunset, </em>Izz Battres from <em>Izzy Does It, </em>former <em>Flip or Flop </em>contractor Jeff Lawrence, Jeff Lewis of <em>Hollywood Houselift, </em>and Tarke and Christina’s moms, Dominique El Moussa and Laurie Haack.</p>

<p id=”par-6_14″>The competition between the exes on <em>The Flip Off</em> is sure to be intense. </p>
<p id=”par-7_46″>“Tarek, Heather and I have all been through a lot of stuff together, and we are all highly competitive,” Christina said. “Tarek is the self-proclaimed ‘best flipper in the world,’ but, honestly, give me a break. I can’t wait to smoke them at their own game.” </p>
<p id=”par-8_23″>Christina is confident she has what it takes to win, but Tarek insists he’s going to give her a run for her money. </p>
<p id=”par-9_42″>“When it comes to distressed real estate, I own the space and Christina doesn’t stand a chance,” Tarek said. “It all comes down to this — who’s going to rise higher from the ashes of everything that we burned to the ground?” </p>
<p id=”par-10_12″>Heather says her unique background will give her and Tarek an edge. </p>
<p id=”par-11_46″>“I come from high-end real estate, and now I’ve been flipping houses with Tarek for the last few years,” she said. “It’s my time to show how hard I’ve worked on my designs, and, more than anything, I want to prove that we can beat Christina.” </p>
<p id=”par-12_22″>In a sneak peak from the first episode (via <a href=”https://people.com/christina-haack-the-flip-off-new-partner-ex-josh-hall-replace-8762070″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>), Christina breaks down when she tells Tarek her third marriage is over. </p>
<p id=”par-13_51″>“Josh and I officially split up,” she says, adding that they had a massive blow up that involved “middle fingers in the face.” The reality TV star adds that her two older kids, whom she shares with Tarek, asked her why she stayed with Josh when he wasn’t “nice” to her. </p>
<p id=”par-14_31″>“I feel like I’m in a tornado all the time and I just can’t get out of it,” she says. “Everything since, like 2016, has been so hard and so horrible.” </p>
