<p id=”par-3_22″>“Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour,” a representative for Grande told <a href=”https://people.com/ariana-grande-taking-step-back-after-tour-amid-public-health-scrutiny-rep-exclusive-12032395″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-4_63″>“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” the statement continued. “This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_20″>Grande’s decision means she will not appear in the upcoming West End revival of <em>Sunday in the Park With George. </em></p>
<p id=”par-6_83″>In recent months, the “Thank U, Next” singer’s has been under the microscope. There has been widespread speculation about her weight, which ramped up after the release of her “Petal” music video on July 31. In June, it was confirmed that she’d <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/we-saw-ariana-grande-and-ethan-slaters-split-coming.html/”>split from her <em>Wicked </em>co-star Ethan Slater</a>. That relationship generated plenty of controversy. Slater was married and had recently welcomed his first child when he and Grande’s romance was exposed, which she was recently separated from her now ex-husband, Dalton Gomez. </p>

And I feel like there’s going to be some major surprises coming up here between now and the first of the year. I absolutely see a ring for her.”</p>
