Cassie eventually moved on to a much less tumultuous relationship with a partner she’d end up marrying. So when Diddy momentarily crept back into the singer’s life, Cassie’s boyfriend-turned-husband declared that he wasn’t welcome in a very subtle way.</p>

<p id=”par-2_115″>Diddy and Cassie were together for a long time before the true nature of their relationship came to light. In the public eye, their romance was on and off from the year 2011 to 2018. The true cause of their break-up wasn’t provided at the time.<br><br>However, <a href=”https://www.tmz.com/2019/01/03/diddy-cassie-new-boyfriend-celebrity-trainer/”>TMZ</a> once reported that Diddy might’ve felt betrayed after Cassie allegedly cheated on him with the fitness trainer she’d eventually end up marrying. What made the betrayal allegedly cut even deeper was that it was the same fitness trainer Diddy paid for to help keep Cassie in good shape. Although Cassie’s own sources denied this was true, claiming she and her trainer only started dating after she was single.</p>
<p id=”par-3_42″>Cassie and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/how-did-cassie-meet-her-now-husband-alex-fine.html/”>the fitness trainer, Alex Fine</a>, developed a quick but powerful spark. A few months after splitting with Diddy, she announced her relationship with Fine to the world through Instagram. The couple would marry a year later on Aug 28, 2019.</p>

<p id=”par-4_59″>On June of that same year, Cassie took to social media again to announce she and Fine were expecting a child. After the announcement, Diddy went on Instagram to congratulate her and Fine on their eventual family. But Fine told Diddy how he felt about the message by liking a follower’s Instagram message that called out the music mogul.</p>
<p id=”par-5_57″>“Diddy really tried to steal your moment along with your photo,” the commenter told Fine. “I think people can see now who he really is. He has no place in the future you have both built, you’re obviously a man with heart, integrity, and the right values. Blessings to you all,” the message read according to <a href=”https://bossip.com/1741451/were-good-fam-alex-fine-rejects-diddys-self-centered-cassie-congratulations/”>Bossip</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-6_66″>It’s easy to see why some felt Diddy’s message carried ulterior motives. The CEO seems to have always had trouble letting Cassie go in the past. It was reported not too long ago that Diddy blew up Kid Cudi’s car just for being in a brief relationship with Cassie back in 2011. He also referenced <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/diddy-discusses-moving-from-cassie-after-she-married-another-man.html/”>his feelings towards the break-up</a> in the song “Gotta Move On.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_32″>Like many, Fine caught a glimpse of Cassie’s relationship with Diddy after surveillance footage showed Diddy <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sean-p-diddy-combs-views-cassie-hotel-video-distraction-homeland-security-raids-insider-says.html/”>assaulting the artist in a hotel</a>. Fine wrote a passionate response to the images on Instagram.</p>
<p id=”par-9_42″>“Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men,” Fine wrote according to <a href=”https://www.huffpost.com/entry/cassie-husband-alex-fine-speaks-out-after-footage-shows-diddy-assaulting-her_n_6648f94fe4b00e1a0a6c5636″>HuffPost</a>. “As men violence against women shouldn’t be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_47″>“Hold the women in your life with the upmost regard,” he added. “Men who hurt women hate women. To all the survivors, find the men and women who help and love. To all the survivors, your stories are real, and people believe you … you’re not alone.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_21″>Sources have claimed that Cassie’s new family life with Fine is much simpler and calmer than what she experienced with Diddy.</p>

<p id=”par-13_23″>It was noted that Cassie intentionally doesn’t attend as many red carpets as she used to. Nowadays, she’s focused on being a mom.</p>
