<p id=”par-2_78″>Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and Sean “Diddy” Combs had a high-profile relationship from 2007 to 2018. And she’s been a beacon of hope for sexual assault survivors since coming forth with her allegations against Combs and her lawsuit in 2023. Ventura sued Combs for rape, physical abuse, and sex trafficking. They settled out of court just one day after Ventura’s legal team filed the paperwork. But her actions allowed others to come forward with their alleged experiences with Combs.</p>
<p id=”par-3_54″>In early 2025, Kanye “Ye” West supported Combs on X. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kanye-ye-west-questions-cassie-ventura-extorted-sean-diddy-combs.html/”>He also posted, “Did Cassie extort Puff?”</a> Later, he posted about Ventura once more. “SO CASSIE AINT EXTORT PUFF?” West wrote. “CASSIE CAME TO PUFF AND SAID GIMME 30 MILLION OR IMA RELEASE A TELL ALL BOOK THATS LOOK LIKE EXTORTION TO ME [sic].”</p>
<p id=”par-4_26″>In March 2025, leaked <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/diddy-tells-kanye-west-imprisonment-wicked-phone-call.html/”>phone call footage showed West speaking to Combs</a> while Combs was behind bars. Again, the two rappers showed love for each other.</p>
<p id=”par-5_57″>Playboi Carti called out West’s misbehavior on X in March 2025 following West’s rant against Kim Kardashian. Carti posted, “YE STFU,” which Ventura then shared on her own social media, according to <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-14517215/cassie-ventura-response-kanye-west-supports-diddy.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>DailyMail.com</a>. In the past, West told Ventura to “shut the f*** up” on X, so she was able to use his own words against him.</p>
