The rapper said he attended many of Diddy’s events. He explained why going without them has felt strange for him.</p>

<p id=”par-3_53″>“I never thought I would see it like this,” he said on the <em>More to the Story</em> podcast (via <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/bow-wow-hole-without-diddy-parties-1235801911/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Billboard</a>). “He’s like the gatekeeper to the game, to the point to where BET Award weekend, like the past two, it just didn’t feel right because there was no motion, there was no parties.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_23″>He saw Diddy as a major figure in hip-hop. Because of this, he <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sean-diddy-combs-trial-date-likely-pushed-may-2025.html/”>believes Diddy’s arrest</a> has left a hole in the community.</p>
<p id=”par-5_46″>“It’s like a hole,” he said. “He was just such a gatekeeper for the liquor and the clubs. He was everything hip-hop. So for that to die out, you just really never thought. Especially when you look at somebody as somebody you studied, somebody you idolized.”</p>

We handled it the way we was supposed to handle it. There’s a conduct and code men go by and everyone knows certain things are off limits. Wives and baby mamas is just some s*** that, you know, you steer clear from.”</p>
