<p id=”par-1_13″>Avengers, assemble. On Wednesday, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/marvel/?swcfpc=1″>Marvel</a> confirmed the cast for the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/marvel/?swcfpc=1″>much-anticipated <em>Avengers: Doomsday</em></a>.</p>

First up was Chris Hemsworth, who will be back as Thor. Also on the list were Vanessa Kirby, (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Captain America), <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sebastian-stan-said-going-blond-made-people-react-differently.html/”>Sebastian Stan</a> (Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier), Letitia Wright (Shuri/Black Panther), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), Simu Liu (Shang Chi), Florence Pugh (Yelena Bulova) </p>
<p id=”par-3_81″>Other names included in the ongoing livestream include Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, and Joseph Quinn. Marvel previously announced that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/robert-downey-jr-revealed-mistake-jumping-film-marvel-run.html/”>Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr.</a> would play Doctor Doom in <em>Avengers: Doomsday, </em>which will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo<em>. </em>One Marvel alum who won’t appear in the movie is Elizabeth Olson. The Scarlet Witch actor recently told <a href=”https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/elizabeth-olsen-avengers-doomsday-1236171701/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Hollywood Reporter</a> that she would not be a part of <em>Doomsday </em>or its sequel.</p>
<p id=”par-4_28″><em>Avengers: Doomsday</em> is now in production in London, with an expected release date of May 1, 2026. The follow-up movie <em>Avengers: Secret Wars </em>is scheduled for May 2027.</p>
