Still, few followers would have guessed she and Keen were together for the amount of time Keen claimed in the released body cam footage. Many followers assumed the relationship started sometime around March or April 2024, with her May move to Las Vegas solidifying their romance. Keen suggests it’s a much more established relationship.</p>

<p id=”par-4_45″>Jenelle Evans and August Keen’s relationship keeps getting weirder. After months of speculation about whether the duo was official, The Ashley Reality Roundup Group broke the news that Keen had referred to Evans as his “girlfriend” in a 911 call placed from her rental home.</p>

In the footage, Keen is seen talking to police following the call. He is quick to let them know that he and Evans had been together for “two-and-a-half years.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_66″>Following the release of the 911 call, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/august-keen-speaks-out-release-911-call-love-respect-her.html/”>Keen came forward</a> to issue a statement via <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/augustkeen/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. He insisted that the domestic matter had been dealt with and that everything had been resolved. He went on to claim that he only called 911 to help “de-escalate” an argument that began after a day of drinking. Keen backtracked on statements he made about Evans’ drinking and drug use.</p>

The mother of three filed for separation from her troubled ex in February 2024. He moved out of the house that month and has not returned. While it’s unclear where they were emotionally as a couple before the separation, legally, they were very much together. It’s possible Evans started a relationship with Keen years before leaving David Eason. Still, it is equally likely that the talent manager lied about the length of their relationship. It’s unclear why he would opt to lie, though.</p>
