Interest has only grown since then. A revival was released in 2016, and fans have been clamoring for more ever since, though they haven’t received any major updates. Now Arielle Kebbel, an actor who had a small but impactful role in the show, is sharing her idea, and we kind of love it.</p>

<p id=”par-2_107″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/gilmore-girls-star-alexis-bledel-taken-aback-rory-dean-affair.html/”>Arielle Kebbel</a> has an idea for a <em>Gilmore Girls</em>-inspired project. The actor, who portrayed Lindsay Lister during the show’s third and fourth seasons, would be interested in returning to the role for one unique storyline. During a chat with <a href=”https://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/arielle-kebbel-reacts-to-serial-killer-edit-of-gilmore-girls-dean/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Us Weekly</a>, Kebbel said one of her favorite <em>Gilmore Girls</em> social media posts is a horror trailer cut featuring Dean Forrester as the villain. Kebbell said she would totally sign up for a horror movie in which Dean was a stalker or killer. She said she’d hoped Lindsay would be the detective on the case. That would be one way to give Lindsay all of her power back.</p>

<p id=”par-3_64″>Lindsay was first introduced as Dean’s girlfriend in season 3 of the beloved series. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/why-lindsay-and-dean-got-married-3-theories-about-the-doomed-gilmore-girls-couple.html/”>Lindsay and Dean married</a> shortly after graduating high school. The marriage ended abruptly after he cheated on her with Rory Gilmore. The last time fans saw Lindsay, her mother was pulling her through the town square. Theresa Lister was mightily pissed that Rory had broken up the teenage romance. </p>
<p id=”par-4_37″>While we would like to think Lindsay moved on and found someone else who shared her values more closely than Dean, Kebbel is totally down with an entirely different idea. We like her take on it better.</p>

<p id=”par-5_39″>While <em>Gilmore Girls</em> fans never learn what became of Lindsay, they did get some closure when it came to Dean. Dean disappeared during season 5 of <em>Gilmore Girls</em> but did appear in <em>Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life</em>.</p>

As the revival explained, the duo had three children and were expecting their fourth. Dean’s location in Scranton could work for Kebbel’s idea. The<em> Office</em> featured <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/the-office-is-toby-the-real-scranton-strangler.html/”>the Scranton Strangler</a>. His identity was never revealed. Perhaps it was Dean Forrester.</p>
