On the July 29 episode of his SiriusXM radio show, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/andy-cohen-isnt-against-rebranding-the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey.html/”><em>Housewives </em>creator</a> dropped a bombshell when he teased that a reboot could be in the works for the troubled reality series. </p>

<p id=”par-2_24″>Cohen seemed to spill the beans on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/andy-cohen-insists-real-housewives-of-new-jersey-fans-will-get-a-complete-season-even-without-a-reunion-special.html/”>the future of <em>RHONJ</em></a><em> </em>while chatting with a frustrated caller on his radio show, <em>Andy Cohen Live</em>. </p>
<p id=”par-3_17″>“Well, I mean, have you heard that we’re gonna do big changes to the show?” he said.</p>
<p id=”par-4_18″>As the woman continued to complain about stale storylines and boring cast members, a tired-sounding Cohen cut in. </p>
<p id=”par-5_21″>“Alright, well yes, we are rebooting the show. We’re going to reboot it. We’re going to do something different,” he said. </p>
<p id=”par-6_28″>As the woman continued to complain that Teresa Giudice was the only current cast member delivering the drama, Cohen replied that “we’re gonna see what we do.” </p>
<p id=”par-7_15″>“We’ll see,” he said. “I don’t know. Maybe just all fresh faces? Maybe. We’ll see.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_36″>It’s not clear if Cohen was serious about an <em>RHONJ </em>reboot or merely trying to placate an annoyed fan. An insider who spoke to <a href=”https://people.com/andy-cohen-teases-rhonj-reboot-heres-the-truth-exclusive-8685366″>People</a> said that “nothing has been decided yet” regarding the show’s future. </p>

<p id=”par-9_67″>Many <em>RHONJ </em>would agreed that the show is in desperate need of an overhaul. The 14th season was marked by dramatic divides between the cast. Giudice’s ongoing feud with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga hit a new low point, with the pair completely refusing to film together. Meanwhile, other cast members also fell out. The tension was so bad that Bravo opted to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/bravo-plans-to-cancel-the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey-reunion-special-amid-cast-drama.html/”>cancel the season 14 reunion</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-10_42″>“I just think that there’s a supreme level of kind of distrust amongst the cast with each other,” Cohen said in the June 4 episode of his radio show. “That’s never healthy in terms of trying to make a great television show.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_13″>Even some of the show’s stars agree that a shakeup is probably necessary. </p>
<p id=”par-12_63″>“[It’s] time for a change,” Gorga said on the July 28 episode of <em>Watch What Happens Live.</em> “I do think the change kind of means some people are gonna go, maybe everyone’s gonna go. So I think we’re all just trying to do our best to try and figure out what’s gonna happen and realize that it is realistic that things might change.” </p>
<p id=”par-13_22″>While Gorga sounds like she might be ready to move on, Giudice says she won’t leave unless Bravo shows her the door. </p>
<p id=”par-14_32″>“No, I’m not leaving,” she recently said during an appearance on <em>Live With Kelly and Mark </em>(via <a href=”https://ew.com/teresa-giudice-rumor-leaving-real-housewives-new-jersey-8675092″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>EW</a>). “I started the show. When Bravo wants me to leave, that’s when I’ll leave.” </p>
