<p id=”par-2_69″>It’s been just over a month since police arrested James Kennedy at a home in Burbank, California, for “domestic battery upon a spouse or cohabitant.” On December 10, witnesses saw a man lift up a woman and throw her to the ground. The couple was later identified as <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/james-kennedy-party-fans-smooch-girlfriend-ally-lewber-cancun.html/”>Kennedy and his girlfriend of two years, Ally Lewber</a>. The DJ was released on a $20,000 bond from an LA jail.</p>

<p id=”par-3_31″>Fans waited four days for an update from the couple. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/vanderpump-rules-james-kennedys-new-girlfriend-ally-lewber.html/”>Lewber</a> finally took to Instagram on December 14. She shared a black-and-white story on the platform with the following statement: </p>

<p id=”par-5_68″>Three days later, <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2024/12/16/celebrity-news/james-kennedy-helps-girlfriend-ally-lewber-move-things-out-of-their-home-following-his-domestic-violence-arrest/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Page Six</a> spotted Lewber hauling her belongings out of the apartment she shared with Kennedy in the San Fernando Valley. The <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/vanderpump-rules-james-kennedy-planning-revenge-track-ariana-madix.html/”>DJ helped</a> Lewber carry her boxes to her car during the move. As the drama unfolded, the Ohio native has stepped out, sans Kennedy, for one media event. Lewber attended a New Year’s Eve party with women’s clothing brand Windsor on December 11, 2024.</p>

She posted a video on <a href=”https://www.tiktok.com/@allylewber/video/7459211601669786911?lang=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TikTok</a> explaining that, right now, she finds comfort and peace in “music, movies, books, music, my cat, astrology.” The <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/katie-maloney-quit-vanderpump-rules-before-cast-shakeup.html/”>former <em>VPR</em> star</a> continued, “This year is a transition. We are moving into new territory that we haven’t experienced ever, or in a really long time. We’re all experiencing and co-creating a new reality together. So it’s really up to us on how we want to show up this year.”</p>
