Once she and Harry tied the knot, rumors leaked that there were tensions between the Sussex and the Wales couples (Prince William and Kate Middleton). Harry and Meghan essentially admitted to tensions during their <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-africa-royal-tour-megxit-clue.html/”>2019 tour of Southern Africa</a>.</p>

One source called her a “dictator in heels,” and another said former members of Meghan’s team called themselves the “Sussex Survivors Club.” The bombshell claims were a huge blow to the reputation Meghan has worked hard to rebuild in recent years.</p>
<p id=”par-4_58″>One PR expert says that no matter what the truth is, it doesn’t paint a “good” picture for the former working royal. “These are current allegations,” PR expert Eric Schiffer told <a href=”https://www.newsweek.com/meghan-markle-bullying-smoking-crater-hollywood-reporter-1959594″>Newsweek</a>. “What it says is that she’s either painfully deluded about her own behavior, or there’s a series of people who are choosing to lie to reporters.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_25″>Schiffer described the situation as, “None of which is good for Meghan when she is still recovering from the reputational damage from across the pond.”</p>

Not long after the article was published, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-former-employee-defends-after-dictator-comments-injustice.html/”>Archewell’s former COO, Mandana Dayani</a>, spoke to <a href=”https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/meghan-markle-prince-harrys-ex-coo-talks-kindness-behind-closed-doors/”>US Weekly</a> about who she believes Meghan to be. “Part of the profound injustice of having to speak publicly on this in light of these endless and damaging narratives is that so much of the kindness, mentorship, and support that Prince Harry and Meghan share with others happens quietly behind closed doors,” Dayani said.</p>
<p id=”par-7_56″>It’s unclear if Meghan will take any action to stop the comments, but this setback doesn’t mean it’s impossible for her to recover her reputation. Meghan has been focused on philanthropic work since leaving the royal family, and if she continues to do so, it will likely speak volumes about who she is as a person.</p>
