The same can also be said for Jacob. </p>
<p id=”par-3_30″>In a <a href=”https://tvline.com/interviews/abbott-elementary-season-4-preview-quinta-brunson-1235346331/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TV Line</a> interview ahead of<em> </em>the <em>Abbott Elementary </em>Season 4 premiere, Brunson, aka teacher Janine Teagues, shared that family is very much part of Jacob’s storyline this season. </p>
<p id=”par-4_42″>“We’re going to learn a lot more about Jacob,” she said. “And I think one thing that’s really exciting about him is we’re going to get to meet some family of his, and I just <em>love</em> meeting families. It’s just so fun.” </p>
<p id=”par-5_57″>Brunson continued, calling it a “huge” moment for Jacob. “I think that’s going to be huge for Jacob because it’s going to tell us a lot about his character without us saying specifically to the camera, ‘Hey, this is what my life was like. This is my situation.’” But I’m just excited to see family of his.” </p>
<p id=”par-6_38″>Brunson didn’t share which relatives of Jacob’s viewers will meet in <em>Abbott Elementary </em>Season 4 or who will play them. Maybe it will be another <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/abbott-elementary-celebrity-cameo-offers-rejected.html/”>celebrity cameo</a> to add to the show’s growing list? <p id=”par-7_40″>Jacob ended the school year on a positive note when <em>Abbott Elementary</em> Season 3 wrapped. He came up with the idea to take the students to Smith Playground—for free—when the annual school-wide field trip was in danger of being canceled. </p>
<p id=”par-8_29″>Apart from a few hiccups with another school that led to a spirited relay race (Abbott won!), going to the playground was a hit with the students and teachers. </p>
<p id=”par-9_47″>Jacob also ended the season on good terms with his ex-boyfriend, Zach (Larry Owens), after Janine invited him to her end of the school year party. The season finale ended with Jacob and his fellow Abbott teachers—minus Gregory and Janine—outside the school the morning after the party. </p>
