More plaintiffs continue to bring cases against Combs. Here’s what a businessman alleged regarding Combs assaulting him during a party and how a “professional athlete” intervened.

A ‘professional athlete’ allegedly stopped Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs from continuing to assault a man at a party

Plaintiffs continue to serve lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs after his initial arrest in September 2024. According to one lawsuit brought against Combs by a businessman, Combs assaulted him before a “professional athlete” stopped the assault.

<a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13985527/Well-known-athlete-intervened-Diddy-groped-young-man-Ciroc-vodka-party-lawsuit.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>DailyMail.com notes the John Doe in question owns a luxury car and jewelry rental company in Los Angeles. He claimed to do business with Combs. Combs sent the businessman a personal invitation to attend a private promotional party for Ciroc vodka. The businessman included photos of himself and other famous folks at the event in the lawsuit. The John Doe noted in the suit that Combs was “acting strangely” while drinking and “instructed” him to head to his “private office.” Combs allegedly exposed himself to the man and grabbed the man’s genitals.

“Plaintiff, shocked and disoriented, frozen momentarily and did not know how to respond to the weirdly inappropriate sexual advance made by Combs,” the lawsuit states. “The situation escalated until another individual, Professional Athlete A, entered the office and intervened, which ended the Combs’ assault of Plaintiff.”

The man then “escaped” from Combs, left the office, and returned home.

The “professional athlete” went unnamed in the lawsuit. However, Combs’ parties included A-listers, pro athletes, and politicians, so there were likely multiple well-known athletes at every event. Rumors suggest LeBron James partied with Combs in the past. And Patrick Mahomes appeared to delete tweets to distance himself from the current case.

Famous folks surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs more than likely knew of his crimes. As seen with Patrick Mahomes and Usher, celebrities who referenced Combs on social media seemed to have disposed of the evidence. Attorney Tony Buzbee told <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aK3G5asaDhs” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Law&Crime Network that he has “no doubt” those with information about Combs are “scrubbing their social media.”

“There is a long list of people,” Buzbee said. ” … I have no doubt that there are people right now who know that they were somehow involved in this who are now scrubbing their social media, who are searching their memories, who are deleting their texts, probably deleting pictures, and trying to distance themselves from this. And we know who they are, or we will find out who they are.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ court case will likely get pushed beyond May 2025 with minors involved

Four additional plaintiffs aside from the businessman alleging that Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulted him came forward with lawsuits on Sunday, Oct. 20. Another plaintiff says Combs assaulted her at 13 years old. Others came forward claiming Combs also hurt them as minors.

Combs’ case is currently set to head to trial on May 5, 2025. However, with crimes involving minors, the case will likely get pushed. Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor, told Law&Crime Network that having minors involved serves as a “game-changer.”

“Minors present a completely different set of circumstances,” Rahmani said, according to <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13945871/diddy-sean-combs-live-updates-court.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>DailyMail.com. “We know through his lawyers, Combs is arguing that the sexual activity happened, but it was consensual. Of course, for sex trafficking, you need one of those elements: force, thought, or coercion. Obviously, minors cannot consent to any sexual activity, so that would be a very different defense entirely.”
