Over the years, fans have followed along as numerous couples have gone from happily imagining their future together to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/angela-deem-michael-ilsesanmi-relationship-timeline-90-day-fiance-divorce.html/”>navigating a bitter breakup</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-2_69″>But not every <em>90 Day </em>romance ends badly. And it looks like Ashley Michelle and Manuel Velez from <em>90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? </em>Season 8 might join the list of couples whose relationships go the distance. <p id=”par-3_57″>Viewers met Ashley and Manuel in 2023 when they appeared on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/90-day-fiance-season-10-follow-cast-instagram.html/”><em>90 Day Fiancé </em>Season 10</a>. The couple first met more than 10 years earlier when Ashley was in Ecuador on a study abroad program in college. After she returned to the United States, they broke up. But they kept in touch and eventually rekindled their romance. </p>
<p id=”par-4_104″>Manuel moved to the U.S. and later married Ashley in an intimate beach wedding in Florida. But tying the know couldn’t solve all of their problems. In season 8 of <em>90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, </em>the newlyweds argued frequently. Finances were a particularly sore spot, with Manuel asking Ashley to give him money to send to his children and ex in Ecuador. But he wasn’t transparent about exactly where the money was going and was reluctant to introduce her to his family, leading to trust issues with his wife. Meanwhile, Manuel wasn’t thrilled to discover that Ashley had a six-figure student loan debt. </p>
<p id=”par-5_42″>The tension between the pair continued into the tell-all. At one point, Manuel admitted to his wife that he wasn’t sure they would be together forever. Ashley was understandably hurt by what seemed to be his reluctance to commit to their relationship. </p>

<p id=”par-6_26″>Ashley and Manuel were in an uncertain place at the end of the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/90-day-fiance-happily-ever-after-season-8-couple-status-tell-all.html/”><em>Happily Ever After? </em>tell-all</a>. But they appear to be working through their issues. </p>
<p id=”par-7_17″>In a series of updates on her <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/ashleymichelle_90day/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>, Ashley confirmed that she and Manuel are still together. </p>
<p id=”par-8_27″>“We’ve been keeping ourselves busy,” she wrote on her Instagram Story in response to a fan question about what she and Manuel had been up to lately.</p>
<p id=”par-9_18″>Ashley also said she and Manuel — who wed in 2022 — were still settling into married life. </p>
<p id=”par-10_26″>“We are good, and let me tell you, I’ve never met someone more stubborn,” she shared. “But little by little, we are both acclimating to marriage.” </p>
<p id=”par-11_20″>The self-described witch also shed some light on what her and Manuel’s relationship is really like away from the cameras. </p>
<p id=”par-12_25″>“Manuel has always felt like home ever since I initially met him back on New Years 2010/2011,” she wrote. “He’s fun, charming, and very supportive.” </p>
<p id=”par-13_34″>“Of course, we’ve had our hiccups over the years, but he has been just as patient with me as I have with him,” she added. “His demons just show a bit more, is all.” </p>
