<p id=”par-1_54″>Even if you’re not a sports fan chances are you know who <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/AARON-RODGERS/?swcfpc=1″>Aaron Rodgers</a> is. He has been a starting quarterback in the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/nfl/”>NFL</a> for 16 years, won a <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/super-bowl/”>Super Bowl</a>, had his family drama aired out on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/reality-tv/”>reality TV</a>, is a future Hall of Famer, guest-hosted <em>Jeopardy</em>, and dated some Hollywood stars. </p>
<p id=”par-2_21″>But a couple of Rodgers’ exes claimed that they didn’t know what the quarterback did before they started dating him. </p>
<p id=”par-3_22″>Here’s just how little these famous women said they knew about the athlete, plus what Rodgers revealed about his new girlfriend. </p>

<p id=”par-4_34″>People are usually skeptical when those who are in the public eye themselves swear they haven’t heard of other very high-profile people. But that’s exactly what two of Rodgers’ most famous ex-girlfriends claimed. </p>
<p id=”par-5_24″>Rodgers began seeing actor Olivia Munn in 2014. A year into their relationship, the <em>X-Men: Apocalypse </em>star confessed that she “had no idea” who he was.</p>
<p id=”par-6_42″>During an <a href=”https://youtu.be/yMzIMJkIWdw” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>interview with Conan O’Brien</a>, Munn recalled: “I said, ‘So what do you do?’ And he said, ‘Oh I play football.’ ‘Cool. What college?’ And he’s like, ‘Oh, no. I play professional.’ And I was like, ‘Cool, what position?’ ‘Quarterback.’ ‘Cool.’”</p>
<p id=”par-7_19″>She added: “All I saw was that he was like really attractive. I didn’t really care what he did.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_40″>The two <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/aaron-rodgers-olivia-munn-split-heres-what-really-went-down.html/?swcfpc=1″>called it quits</a> in 2017. And a few years later, we learned that Munn isn’t the only one of Rodgers’ exes who didn’t know what he did. Another famous woman wasn’t too familiar with him either. </p>

<p id=”par-9_40″>Unlike Munn,<em> Divergent</em> actor Shailene Woodley, who was engaged to Rodgers before they split in 2022, had heard of the signal-caller. She knew he was a “football guy” but because she never watched sports she didn’t understand how good he was. </p>
<p id=”par-10_23″>In 2021, Woodley was a guest on <em>The Tonight Show</em> <em>Starring Jimmy Fallon</em> and the host asked about her relationship with A-Rod. </p>
<p id=”par-11_53″>“I never thought I’d be engaged to someone who threw balls for a living,” the <em>Big Little Lies</em> star joked. “I never thought as a little girl, ‘Yeah when I grow up I’m going to marry someone who throws balls, yeah!’ But he’s really just so go good at it. I’m very impressed.”</p>
<p id=”par-12_53″>Woodley continued: “Before I met him I’d never seen one football game before. When we met I knew he was a football guy but I didn’t know what kind of football guy he was. I don’t know him as a football guy … He just happens to also be very good at sports.”</p>

<p id=”par-14_40″>Fast forward to today and Rodgers has a new woman in his life. We’re not sure if she knew of him prior to when they started dating because the athlete did not reveal much about her or their relationship. </p>
<p id=”par-15_70″>During an <a href=”https://youtu.be/fxRz85N7LY4″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>episode of <em>The Pat McAfee Show</em></a> on Dec. 23, Rodgers talked about holiday shopping and let it slip that he had a girlfriend saying: “I actually ordered all of [my Christmas gifts] online this year. I was a little worried because there was one package left for my girlfriend, Brittani, that hadn’t showed up yet. So I’ve been waiting on this to show up and it showed up today.”</p>
<p id=”par-16_37″>McAfee’s co-host A.J. Hawk then pressed for more details on the mystery woman asking if he was dating pop star Britney Spears, to which Rodgers grinned and replied: “Not Britney Spears, this is Brittani with an ‘i.’”</p>
