MAGA-aligned U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who was endorsed in his reelection bid by President Trump, won the GOP South Carolina primary on Tuesday and said, “Thank God we won.” He added, “I want to thank the Big Guy,” paused, and clarified, “God.” He added with a laugh, “Trump comes later. Mr. President you’re not far behind God.”
Lindsey Graham, in his victory speech, compares President Trump to God and says, “Mr. President, you’re not far behind God.”

Critics are chastising Graham for his remarks, including former InfoWars presenter Owen Shroyer who wrote: “The amount of Blasphemy against Christianity from Republicans the last 2 years is unreal.”
[NOTE: Graham, who won 56.8 percent of the primary votes, will face Democratic nominee Dr. Annie Andrews, who won 61.5 percent of the Democratic primary votes, in the general election in November.]
Andrews’ supporters are criticizing Graham’s recent description of his opponent. As seen below, when asked about the Democratic nominee, Graham said, “She seems like an attractive nice lady (with) a couple of kids but, um, what does she believe?”
Graham is being criticized by his detractors for the “misogynist” comment, and for failing to mention that Andrews is a pediatrician.
.@AnnieAndrewsMD is a doctor. Her opponent, @LindseyGrahamSC, refers to her here as “an attractive, nice lady with a couple of kids.”
