The Atlanta Braves are in the middle of a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field.
The Twins won Game 1 of the series 4-2 on Monday. Game 2 is slated to begin at 7:40 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game, the Braves announced major news involving right-hander AJ Smith-Shawver.

The Atlanta Braves wrote on X: “The #Braves today recalled RHP AJ Smith-Shawver to Atlanta and designated RHP Tyler Kinley for assignment.”
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Chad Bishop wrote on X: “Smith-Shawver now scheduled to start Wednesday”
