Police release photos of person wanted in Humboldt Park robbery, car burglaries

Chicago police released photos of a person wanted in a series of car burglaries and a robbery in Humboldt Park in June and July.

The suspect was seen walking through the area with a small dog, checking car door handles and looking inside vehicles before breaking a window or opening an unlocked door to remove property, police said. In one incident, the suspect robbed a victim while armed with a knife as the victim was parking, police said.

Police said the incidents happened at:

  • 4400 block of W. Cortez St. on June 22 at 2:14 a.m.
  • 4200 block of W. Cortez St. on June 29 at 1 p.m.
  • 1100 block of N. Keeler Ave .on July 09 at 6 p.m.
  • 1100 block of N. Keeler Ave. on July 15 at 3:30 a.m.
  • 4100 block of W. Thomas St. on July 23 at 6:30 p.m.
