The return has yet ot be reported, but likely revolves around outfield prospects Kendall George and Zyhir Hope, who were both scratched from their minor league games tonight.
Skubal, 29, is coming off back-to-back Cy Young seasons and has been debatably the best pitcher in the sport.Â
This season, despite injuries, Skubal has managed a 2.79 ERA, 3 bWAR, and 116 strikeouts through 96.2 innings. Heâs well on his way to another Cy Young, if he logs the innings.Â
The Dodgers, similarly to Skubal, have had back-to-back years of historic success. Theyâre currently trying to become MLBâs first three-peat team since the New York Yankees did it.Â
LAâs rotation has been hurt all season, as it usually is. Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow have both missed serious time.Â
Skubal joins a rotation with Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Justin Wrobleski, and a slew of other talented arms, all equipped with plus stuff for October.Â
