<p id=”par-2_47″>On Friday, Bravo dropped the first trailer for <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rhoa-newbie-pinky-cole-files-for-bankruptcy-after-calling-herself-one-of-the-most-powerful-entrepreneurs-in-america-in-s17-trailer.html/”><em>The Real Housewives of Atlanta </em>Season 17</a> reunion. The three-minute clips teases plenty of explosive confrontations in the multi-part sitdown, including a moment when the <em>Watch What Happens Live </em>host quizzes Cynthia Bailey about her issues with Shamea Morton. </p>

<p id=”par-3_13″>“Cynthia, at what point did you decide you didn’t like Shamea?” Andy asks.</p>
<p id=”par-4_4″>“Oh Lord,” Cynthia replies. </p>
<p id=”par-5_33″>Cynthia and Shamea clashed in the latest season of <em>RHOA, </em>particularly after Cynthia stuck Shamea in what the latter felt were subpar and dirty pool house accommodations during a cast trip to Dallas. </p>
<p id=”par-6_59″>Last month, Cynthia was a guest on the Humble Brag podcast, where she also addressed some shade that Shamea allegedly threw her way over Cynthia not being a full-time Housewife this season. Cynthia had a long stint as a peach-holder before <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/why-did-cynthia-bailey-initially-leave-the-real-housewives-of-atlanta.html/”>leaving <em>RHOA</em> after season 13</a>. She returned as a friend of the cast for the past two seasons. </p>
<p id=”par-7_34″>Given her history with the franchise, Cynthia said she had nothing to prove, especially to a woman who spent years as a friend and guest before finally achieving full-time Housewife status in season 16. </p>
<p id=”par-8_51″>“After you’ve been a Housewife for over a decade, and you started off as a Housewife and not a friend, it’s just kind of like, is it really shade?” Cynthia asked (via <a href=”https://thejasminebrand.com/2026/06/23/cynthia-bailey-not-surprised-shamea-morton-shaded-her-for-not-being-a-full-time-rhoa-housewife-says-it-wasnt-like-i-was-on-the-sidelines-for-years/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Jasmine Brand</a>). “It wasn’t like I was on the sidelines for years and then finally got my peach.”</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-what-also-to-expect-from-the-real-housewives-of-atlanta-reunion”>What also to expect from ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion</h2>
<p id=”par-9_60″>Of course, Cynthia and Shamea aren’t the only Housewives who aren’t getting along at the reunion. Shamea also has issues with Angela Oakley and Porsha Williams, while Porsha and K. Michelle also have their claws out. Meanwhile, Phaedra Parks still wants an apology from Pinky Cole, but Pinky tells her not to hold her breath – she’s not getting one. </p>
<p id=”par-10_42″>K. Michelle’s comments about Shamea’s mother also resurface, with K. Michelle claiming that Shamea’s mother called Porsha a jezebel. Porsha responds by tells Shamea to keep her name out of her mouth as Andy tries to step in and calm everyone down. </p>
<p id=”par-11_56″>In part one of the reunion, “Porsha spills tea about her love life, Kelli sits in the hot seat about her living arrangements and will unmask a special guest. Porsha and K. Michelle go toe to toe to get to the bottom of rumors from scorned exes and social media back and forth,” according to Bravo. </p>
<p id=”par-12_44″>Part two will pick up after some stunning revelations about an off-camera conflict. Per Bravo: “Porsha brings some receipts. Pinky and Phaedra heat up the room with a feud that stems from a hidden resentment. Cynthia drops a surprise that no one sees coming.”</p>
<p id=”par-13_45″>The reunion concludes with an epic part three, where K. Michelle finally reveals the truth about the plot against her. Also, “Angela faces off in one final round of unforgettable reads [and] the tension between Porsha and Shamea proves that some friendships are beyond repair.” </p>
<p id=”par-14_30″><em>The Real Housewives of Atlanta </em>Season 17 reunion begins Sunday, August 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Extended uncensored versions of the episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock. </p>
