A sudden drop in water pressure due to a city-wide water issue forced Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney to briefly close bathrooms and restaurants until water pressure could be restored to the Anaheim theme park resort.
The city of Anaheim issued a temporary water pressure advisory at 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28 for the Disney theme parks, nearby hotels and the surrounding resort area.
“The issue involves a handful of Anaheim’s groundwater wells and technical issues drawing water from them,” according to the Anaheim advisory. “We are offsetting the issue by using additional river water.”

The Disneyland resort experienced a water pressure issue on Tuesday that affected large portions of Anaheim and temporarily impacted operations throughout the resort, according to Disneyland officials.
Disneyland teams worked quickly to take care of affected guests, according to Disneyland officials.

Disneyland employees blocked bathroom entrances and turned visitors away, KTLA reported.
Restaurants throughout the Disneyland resort were closed due to a lack of running water, according to WDW News Today.

Water pressure issues at the Disneyland resort were resolved within an hour and park operations quickly returned to normal, WDW News Today reported.
The daylong water pressure issues in the city started at 5 a.m. Tuesday with four underground wells, according to city officials. The same four wells were responsible for the water pressure issues that impacted the Disneyland resort on Tuesday night.
The city-wide water pressure issues also impacted Angel Stadium, parts of downtown Anaheim and local residents.
