First, he was accused by several women of sexual assault, some incidents as far back as the 1990s, and now he’s headed toward divorce. His estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley, called police on Marcellus last week in Florida, and immediately sought a divorce. She’s claiming a myriad of abuse, including rape. Now, Marcellus is back with a claim of his own. He alleges all of his current trouble stems from a “voodoo spell” Annemarie’s family placed on him and his household. She stood by him during early rape accusations, and likely lost her spot on the Bravo series because of that. Now, though, she’s ready to fight for her freedom.</p>

<p id=”par-3_78″>The marriage appeared to unravel over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, while the family, including their shared children, was in Orlando, Florida. According to <a href=”https://www.tmz.com/2026/07/07/marcellus-wiley-sexual-assault-victim-using-wife-claims/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TMZ</a>, Annemarie called police when she wanted Marcellus removed from the room. She told officers that he was violent, had been violent in the past, and had threatened to kill her. Florida deputies determined there was probable cause to charge Wiley with domestic battery, and he was arrested and booked on July 4.</p>
<p id=”par-4_96″>Annemarie hightailed it back to California and filed for divorce in Los Angeles. She also sought a temporary restraining order, which was granted. In her filing, she documented a pattern of abuse throughout the marriage, describing what she called “a continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control, and intimidation,” some of which she said their children witnessed. She listed several incidents where she said Marcellus raped her. The restraining order bars Wiley from contacting Annemarie or their children and requires him to move out of their shared residence.</p>

<p id=”par-5_50″>Days after his release from jail, Marcellus Wiley took to X to deny the allegations in a lengthy statement. He called them “lies” and said he has “videos, photographs, text messages, emails, and other evidence” that contradict her claims. In some ways, Marcellus tried to frame Annemarie as the aggressor.</p>

<p id=”par-6_56″>He attacked her character, claiming she had an affair with a friend’s husband while that friend was expecting a child, and accused her of being a bad parent. Things took a hard turn when he then accused her family of putting a “voodoo spell” on him and his family. He didn’t elaborate on those allegations, though.</p>
<p id=”par-7_56″>He closed his statement by saying he never wanted his family’s struggles to play out publicly, and that he intends to address the dispute through legal channels going forward. Still, he took one more shot at his estranged spouse, alleging she “lost her mind” after <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/why-did-annemarie-wiley-leave-the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills.html/”>Bravo opted to part ways</a> with her after a single season.</p>
