The beautiful downtown Los Angeles Central Library is throwing a Centennial Festival on Saturday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and everyone is invited.

The day is slated to include live music, special programs and guests, hands-on craft making and more. See the World’s Largest Pop-Up Book, see a performance by the Bob Baker Marionette Theater at 12:15 p.m., Musical performances include Ashley Anne & The Carnations, Lucy Kalantari & the Jazz Cats, the Linda Lindas, Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz and Urban Voices. Tour the library’s special collections, hear from noted authors and more. Food trucks will be on hand.
