Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce in a massive, star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden.
Some guests shared their glamorous looks. Other celebrities praised Taylor’s generosity over millions in donations.
And Gracie Abrams is getting backlash for posting a pic of Taylor’s ex-boyfriend. What’s going on?

On her Instagram page on Sunday, July 5, Abrams shared a screenshot of her in a red sequin gown.
This was no random snap.
She wore this outfit to Taylor and Travis’ wedding.
Alongside this pic, she shared a series of other images.
Only one of them landed her in hot water with Swifties.
The photo that earned some backlash was from the 2018 film, The Favourite.
The pic shows Abigail Hill, a fictional character portrayed by Emma Stone, beating up another character, Samuel Masham.
Masham is portrayed by Joe Alwyn, an actor whose primary claim to fame remains one erstwhile relationship.
From 2016 to 2023, he and Taylor were in a relationship.
Notably, Abrams included no context for the screenshot. She didn’t even mention Taylor’s wedding in the caption.
What does it mean?
Swifties are downright notorious for noticing tiny little details, whether the details mean anything or not.
These are, after all, fans of a woman who is affectionately nicknamed blonde Jigsaw.
So, yes, people took notice of the single still from an 8-year-old film.
Some called it “crazyyyyy.” Others called it “weird.”
“Not congratulating Taylor,” one asked, “but posting her ex?”
Folks, Abrams was definitely not taking shots at the wedding.
(Also, she attended the wedding. She also signed an NDA in order to do so, by the way.)
In fact, Abrams has also opened for the Eras Tour.
It’s likely that, if she got the chance, she congratulated Taylor on her wedding. Because she was a guest there.
If anything, she shared the photo as shade at Taylor’s ex. But we don’t even know that. Swifties do, at times, need to chill.
