A shooting early Tuesday in River North has left a 30-year-old man dead and a 65-year-old wounded.
Chicago police said the two men were outside along the 500 block of North State Street at about 3:20 a.m. when they heard gunshots and felt pain.
The 30-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, where police said he was later pronounced.
The 65-year-old man suffered two gunshot wounds to the foot and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
No further information was available, according to police.
