U.S. Congressman Warns Todd Blanche, “You Will Be Disbarred”

Todd Blanche

President Trump’s acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the DOJ will not release the approximately two million Epstein files documents, out of a reported six million total, that have not yet been released.

After former Attorney General Pam Bondi left the DOJ, Blanche said in April, “And so I think that to the extent that the Epstein files was a part of the past year of this Justice Department, it should not be a part of anything going forward.”

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have accused the DOJ of failing to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

U.S. Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA), an attorney and former JAG prosecutor, warned Blanche on social media: “Dear @DAGToddBlanche: You don’t get to decide to ‘move on’ from the Epstein Files or from following the congressional law. That decision can only be made by the American people and Congress. You will be disbarred. The files will eventually be released. November is coming.”

Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC), one of the four Republicans in the House to sign the discharge petition to get the DOJ to release the complete Epstein Files (with Reps. Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Lauren Boebert), said her refusal to remove her name on that discharge petition is what likely cost her an endorsement from President Trump as she runs for Governor in South Carolina. (Last week Trump endorsed South Carolina’s Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette.)

As seen below, after Trump endorsed Evette, Mace — who has called herself “Trump in High Heels” — told Fox News Digital: “If the price to pay for an endorsement was to not release those files, I would never pay it.”

[NOTE: Greene, who resigned from Congress in January, has said her break with President Trump was based on her refusal to remove her name from the petition.]

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), who co-sponsored the discharge petition with Massie, said the Kentucky congressman lost his primary last month to Trump-endorsed candidate Ed Gallrein because Massie “had the guts to take on the Epstein class.”
