<p id=”par-1_58″>It’s been eight years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>tied the knot</a>. The duke and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/meghan-markle-getting-residual-checks-suits-surprise-streaming-success.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>former <em>Suits</em> star</a> said “I do” at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on May 19, 2018. But it was months earlier when Meghan was introduced to a global audience in her and Harry’s joint interview shortly after they announced their engagement. </p>
<p id=”par-2_44″>While some thought Meghan would be nervous in the moment as they shared parts of their relationship with the world, she was not. But according to an expert, Harry, who grew up in the royal spotlight, is the one who showed signs of “nervousness.”</p>
<p id=”par-3_39″>Now, on the couple’s eighth wedding anniversary, we’re looking back at their interview and what Harry kept doing to try and calm himself. The expert also weighed in on the new wedding day photos the duchess just shared. </p>

He later moved into media and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.” Stanton now offers his expert analysis on high-profile public figures such as the royals.</p>
<p id=”par-5_57″>Speaking on behalf of <a href=”https://casino.betfair.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Betfair Casino</a>, Stanton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “Harry is clearly uncharacteristically nervous. He was tucking his hand into his jacket a lot which is a textbook protective gesture – one that he and William have inherited from Charles. He has really grown since then, though, and we hardly see that from him anymore. </p>
<p id=”par-6_75″>“Meghan, by contrast, was incredibly confident. Her strides were long and purposeful. Her gestures are also incredibly open and welcoming. She demonstrates a lot of open palm movements, which show her to be totally at home and at ease. She has always been very consistent. I guess her background as an actress means she is used to the bright lights of fame, but equally, it could be that she is better at concealing her nerves.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_46″>Stanton added, “Meghan was also very supportive of Harry. Her hands were interlocked tightly around his throughout. You can see that she senses his nerves. Her confident strides and open gestures could also have been part of this, trying to exude confidence to help bolster Harry’s.”</p>

It is almost a look of astonishment and disbelief,” Stanton shared. “Her eyes are wide, and she has a broad Duchenne smile – she is overwhelmed with pride and just in a state of utter disbelief and happiness. They are in their own little bubble, and she is mesmerised by him.</p>
<p id=”par-10_68″>“Harry was totally elated on the day. The close-up of him hugging someone shows just pure joy. His cheekbones are raised, and his eyes are so engaged in the smile that is almost squinting — there are crow’s feet and laugh lines. They were clearly besotted with each other and operating in their own little bubble. Meghan, in particular, consistently in these shots seems overwhelmed with love and joy.”</p>
