Former Steelers 330-Pound Lineman Gets Waived From AFC Foe: Report

If the Pittsburgh Steelers want to consider a reunion with a massive body along the defensive front, Brodric Martin is now available.

Steelers Now’s Alan Saunders reported Thursday the Las Vegas Raiders waived Martin from their roster. Martin’s release came with the defensive lineman injured.

The Raiders moved on from Martin about five months after claiming the defensive lineman off waivers. The Steelers released Martin in December.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound defensive lineman spent six weeks in Pittsburgh during the 2025 campaign. The Steelers poached Martin off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in early November.

Martin appeared in one game for the Steelers. He didn’t record a statistic while playing 10 defensive snaps. Martin also had two snaps on special teams.

The Detroit Lions drafted Martin at No. 96 overall in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. In six NFL games, he has registered four combined tackles.
