<p id=”par-1_81″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-harry/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Prince Harry</a> is scheduled to return to the U.K. in July for the WellChild Awards and the 12-month countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. At this time, it’s not known if <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>his wife, Meghan Markle</a>, and their two children, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/royal-fans-react-to-meghan-and-harrys-halloween-family-video-archie-and-lilibet-look-so-grown-up.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet</a>, will join him. However, it’s being reported that the Duke of Sussex is putting forth a list of demands that the royals will need to meet if the duchess decides to return with him. </p>
<p id=”par-2_65″>According to a source who spoke to <a href=”https://heatworld.com/celebrity/news/prince-harry-bust-up-meghan-markle/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Heat World</a>, “Harry says he has no choice, based on how badly things have gone in the past. The last thing he wants is Meghan walking into a situation where she feels judged, and he says all he’s asking is that she’s treated with basic respect and not cast as the bad guy before anything’s even happened. </p>
<p id=”par-3_36″>“It’s a tricky line for him, because he’s trying to keep his father on side while also protecting his wife. He wants firm reassurance that everyone will keep things polite and give her a fair chance.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_13″>But what Harry has demanded isn’t sitting well with other senior royals. </p>
<p id=”par-5_46″>The insider explained that “a large number of senior royals are outraged that Harry’s had the audacity to make all these demands ahead of his trip. The fact that, once again, it all centers around Meghan — and presumably ensuring she’s treated with kid gloves. </p>
<p id=”par-6_58″>“After everything she’s said and done, it’s out of order as far as the Waleses and Queen Camilla are concerned. King Charles is clearly desperate for peace and to keep all sides happy, but he needs to be careful. If it starts looking like he’s treating Harry like a prodigal son, it will cause a lot of resentment.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_71″>The source added, “The irony is that Harry has been the one begging for the chance to come back and now that it’s going his way, he’s putting up roadblocks. People are assuming Meghan is the one pulling the strings, so, in a way, he’s making things worse. Charles wants things to go smoothly, but considering how openly opposed Camilla and William are to this, he doesn’t have an easy path.”</p>

They were met with boos from the public as they left a Service of Thanksgiving for the queen at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. And while it’s not clear how they were treated by all the royals, they did not interact with Prince William and Princess Kate at all during that trip. </p>
<p id=”par-9_28″>In September of that same year, Meghan and Harry happened to be in England for the WellChild Awards when it was announced that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/queen-elizabeth-ii-dead-british-monarch-dies-96.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Queen Elizabeth had died</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-10_79″>The Sussexes did reunite with William and Kate then and did a walkabout outside Windsor Castle. While they all tried to grin and bear it, Meghan looked very uncomfortable for the most part. And once their impromptu walkabout concluded, a clip went viral of Kate staring her sister-in-law down and taking a step towards her, which caused the duchess to back away. Harry clearly doesn’t want a repeat of any of that this time if Meghan shows up. </p>
