Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are making the most of the offseason.
While Mahomes is focused on being ready to go in Week 1 after suffering an ACL tear in December, he’s also spending quality time with his family. And that includes celebrating Brittany’s latest accomplishments.
The couple traveled to East Texas in March for the former soccer player’s induction into the UT Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame.

When Brittany accepted her award on stage, the three-time Super Bowl champion gave her a standing ovation and shared a video of the special moment on his Instagram Stories. On May 6, the mom of three received yet another special accolade this offseason.
Brittany Mahomes Accepted the First-Ever Champion for Change Award by United WE
United WE, a national women’s leadership organization, recognized Brittany’s work as a founding co-owner of the KC Current. The Current were not only the fastest team to win the NWSL Shield last season, but they also finished the regular season as the No. 1-ranked team, breaking several league records.
Brittany officially accepted the award at CPKC Stadium. She wrote on Instagram, “Such an inspiring morning with @unitedwe__ celebrating progress and influencing action!
“It was such an honor to receive the inaugural Champion for Change award in the stadium that represents what it looks like when women’s needs are prioritized in sports and in the workplace. No better place to celebrate women than a stadium built for women! Thank you @unitedwe__ and @wendyddoyle for the incredible honor!”
Mahomes, who joined the KC Current as a co-owner in 2023, commented, “Congrats babe! You deserve it! Love you!” He also proudly shared the Instagram post on his Stories and wrote, CONGRATS!!”
Mahomes’ foundation was also recognized in United WE’s statement: “Through the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, she and her husband, Patrick Mahomes, have contributed millions to initiatives advancing children’s health, wellness, and opportunity in underserved communities.
“Her leadership demonstrates that when women are visible, invested, and at the decision-making table, communities and economies grow stronger.”

NFL Network host Kimmi Chex said of Mahomes and his wife, “I love that we were able to honor her. I also love that Patrick was here and was able to cheer for her as well. We know him as our incredible leader of the Kansas City Chiefs and the quarterback for the team, but at his heart, he’s also a father, and he’s a husband and a huge supporter of not only Brittany, but of women as well.”
One fan commented, “Was there any doubt?!? ❤️ (WELL DONE SIR! ❤️ WELL DONE! 💛.” Another fan gushed, “Awesome couple!!!!!!!!”
