Rickie Fowler Missed the Cut at the Last 2 PGA Tour Events & Failed to Qualify for the Masters

Fowler has played in eight events this season, making the cut in six of these tournaments. Unfortunately, Fowler missed the cut in his last two events and will look to break this streak at RBC Heritage.

Fowler last played in the Valero Texas Open on April 2 and is looking to bounce back in the coming days at Hilton Head. The star did have a top-10 finish at the Arnold Palmer in March. Fowler has a special connection to the late Arnold Palmer and wanted to win at Bay Hill.

“Yeah, this would be very high on the list,” Fowler detailed in a March 6, press conference. “It would be a lot more special being able to get that red sweater from Arnie himself. But, no, this has always been one of my favorite events. We’ve played it, I think I missed it last year and missed it once before.

“I won a junior event back here in the day, an AJGA event. We’ve had chances and played well here before. But, yeah, this is a special one, especially with, one, the field, but the golf course, the test, it’s a grind and the guys that win here and have success here, you can’t fake it around this place, you have to earn it.”

PGA Tour Golf Odds: Scottie Scheffler Is the Favorite to Win the RBC Heritage

Masters champion Rory McIlroy will not be playing at the RBC Heritage, but there is still plenty of star power at the event. Scottie Scheffler is a heavy favorite to win the tournament in the golf odds at +380, per DraftKings.

Fresh off a strong performance at Augusta National, Young sits at fifth in the odds at +1800. Fowler has extremely long odds to win the tournament at +6300.

The star’s last win came in July 2023 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Fowler has earned more than $55 million during his career on the PGA Tour but is still chasing his first major win.
