Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have turned Kansas City into a regular backdrop for their relationship over the past two years. Since Swift began spending more time in the city during Kelce’s NFL seasons, the couple has been spotted at several well-known restaurants and nightlife destinations.
As the pair prepares for their upcoming wedding, their go-to date night spots offer a closer look at where they spend time together when they are off the field and off stage.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Kansas City Date Night at Prime Social
One of the couple’s earliest public outings in Kansas City took place at Prime Social, a rooftop cocktail bar located above the Country Club Plaza.
After a Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears, Kelce and Swift were seen leaving together in a vintage car before heading to the venue.
The appearance quickly gained attention online, with photos circulating of the two arriving at the upscale location. The venue reportedly hosted a private gathering for the couple and their friends.
Chiefs safety Justin Reid later described the night during an interview. “So Travis rents out Prime Social right downtown, and from Prime Social he throws a private party, all the players are invited,” Reid said. “And everybody at some point or another meets Taylor. And Taylor is just awesome.”
He added, “She found a way to compliment everybody that she met that night. They were enjoying themselves having a good time. And you know, everyone got a chance to meet her. It was a really organic space and it was a lot of fun.”
Kansas City Restaurants and Favorite Food Spots
Kelce and Swift have also been seen dining at several Kansas City-area restaurants, including Piropos, an Argentine steakhouse in the Northland. According to reports, the couple visited the restaurant following a Chiefs victory, arriving together for a meal.
During the holiday season, they attended a group outing at Miracle KC, a seasonal pop-up hosted inside The Wise Guy restaurant. The event included several Chiefs players and their partners, including Patrick Mahomes, and his wife, Brittany.
Swift’s appearance at Rye in Leawood also drew attention. Restaurant owner Megan Garrelts said the visit came as a surprise.
“I greeted her and shook her hand … and welcomed her to the restaurant,” Garrelts told the Kansas City Star.
Garrelts added, “It was a ladies’ night, and it was very fun. I’m glad we were able to give them a space to enjoy themselves.”
According to Garrelts, Swift ordered chicken and dumplings and a cocktail while the group celebrated a birthday.
Kelce has also shared some of his personal favorite Kansas City food spots. On his “New Heights” podcast, he discussed his go-to order at Joe’s Kansas City, a well-known barbecue restaurant.
“I go in there, get a half slab, a couple Z-mans, a big old order fries, and I just get that fountain drink,” Kelce said.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Frequently Visit 1587 Prime
Another regular destination for the couple is 1587 Prime, an upscale steakhouse co-owned by Kelce and Mahomes. Swift attended the restaurant’s soft opening and has returned multiple times since.
The restaurant features signature cocktails inspired by both Kelce and Swift. Kelce’s drink, “Big Yeti,” includes bourbon and rye, while Swift’s cocktail, “Alchemy,” blends vodka with fruit and tea flavors.
The couple was spotted celebrating at the restaurant in October 2025 following a Chiefs win, further establishing it as one of their go-to spots in Kansas City.
