Not every T20 cricket player can make a big impact on the outcome of a match. In fact, the kind of impact that Mukul Choudhary made on the result of the Lucknow Super Giants vs Kolkata Knight Riders April 9th match.
Much like Connor McDavid for the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL or Lebron James in the NBA, Mukul led the charge offensively for LSG in their chase.
The 21-year-old put together an unbeaten 54-run knock off 27 deliveries, propelling LSG to victory over KKR. It may not have been a nine-wicket haul, but it was a great performance from the youngster, and Murul is drawing praise from both captains for his performance in this match. In fact, Rishabh Pant issues a one-word compliment that will stick with Mukul for a long time.
