Patrick and Brittany Mahomes gave their kids a standout Easter celebration this year, complete with a helicopter egg drop and coordinated family outfits.
In videos posted to Brittany’s Instagram post, a helicopter is seen flying overhead and dropping Easter eggs across a field for their kids—Sterling, Bronze, and Golden—to collect. After the helicopter leaves, Patrick is seen holding Sterling’s hand while guiding Bronze toward the scattered eggs.
Patrick Mahomes’ Easter Surprise for Kids Goes Viral
Patrick created a memorable Easter experience by arranging for a helicopter to drop eggs for his children and other lucky kids at the celebration. The video, reshared by fan account BBQ Chiefs, quickly drew attention for the scale of the celebration.
Following the drop, the Kansas City Chiefs‘ star quarterback walked alongside his kids as they gathered eggs. Sterling stayed close, holding Patrick’s hand, while Bronze followed nearby. Golden, the youngest, also joined the family outing.
The Mahomes family has made a tradition of celebrating holidays together, often sharing those moments publicly. This year’s Easter added a new element with the helicopter drop.
Mahomes Family Easter Photos Show Matching Outfits
Patrick and Brittany also coordinated matching outfits for the holiday. The family wore green-and-white outfits while posing together for photos.
The photos included their three children, along with Patrick’s brother, Jackson Mahomes, his half-sister, Mia Randall, and his mother, Randi Mahomes.
The couple shares three children: Sterling, now 5; Bronze, 3; and Golden, the youngest. Golden recently turned one and has appeared in several family posts shared by Brittany.
The family has previously shared holiday celebrations, including Golden’s first Easter last year, when Brittany posted clips of the kids participating in an egg hunt.
Patrick Mahomes Continues Offseason Family Time
Patrick has spent the offseason focusing on family time following an injury late in the NFL season. The quarterback was previously seen wearing a brace on his left knee after dealing with a torn ACL and LCL.
Despite the injury, Patrick has remained active with his family, including celebrating holidays and attending events.
Just days before Easter, Patrick spoke at a Kansas City event hosted by Lead to Read KC, where he reflected on his favorite part of playing in the NFL.
“It would be to play at Arrowhead Stadium and just have all the fans and Chiefs Kingdom out there,” Patrick said in a clip shared to X. “That’s a lot of fun.”
Patrick also mentioned his connection to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
“I got to meet Taylor Swift, that was pretty cool too,” he added.
Mahomes Talks Taylor Swift Friendship
Patrick and Brittany have developed a friendship with Taylor Swift through Travis Kelce. He and Brittany were among the local few who got a call after Kelce proposed to the superstar in August.
“They called me after the podcast was done,” Patrick said at a previous press conference, referencing Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. “They didn’t call me, they called Brittany, and I was in the back of the FaceTime.”
Patrick added that he is looking forward to Swift’s upcoming music.
“I’m obviously super excited,” he said. “Just knowing Taylor and seeing the process from just a little bit closer of how she makes the albums, it’s going to be amazing because of how much work she puts into it.”
