New York Knicks Make New Karl-Anthony Towns Announcement Before Bulls Game

On Friday evening, the New York Knicks will host the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks are coming off a 130-119 win over the Memphis Grizzlies (on the road).

Karl-Anthony Towns finished the game with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and one block while shooting  8/12 from the field in 29 minutes of playing time.

Before Friday’s game, the Knicks have announced that Towns has been added to the injury report.

The All-Star forward will be listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Karl-Anthony Towns (elbow) downgraded to questionable Friday.”

Towns is in the middle of another strong season with averages of 20.1 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest while shooting 49.6% from the field and 36.8% from the three-point range in 72 games.

Towns’ NBA Career

He is in his second year in New York (after nine with the Minnesota Timberwolves).

The former Kentucky star was the first pick in the 2015 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball.

His career averages are 22.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 52.1% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range in 717 games.
