U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-PA), Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, raised a milk carton featuring the face of Russ Vought, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the word “Missing.”
As seen below in session, Boyle questioned why Vought had not yet testified in front of the Committee.
Boyle said: “This morning, I have one question — where is Trump’s Budget Director Russell Vought? The architect of Project 2025 has gone completely missing in front of the Budget Committee, probably because he can’t defend the administration’s disastrous, unpopular economic record.”
Why won’t Trump’s Budget Director Russell Vought testify in front of the Budget Committee?
Maybe it’s because he can’t defend the president with the worst economic approval since the Great Recession.
Maybe it’s because Trump broke his promise to lower costs. pic.twitter.com/nBCOpyIoyr

When Vought replied to Boyle: “I am coming to testify on April 15. You should get up to speed,” Boyle replied, “Hope you’ve cleared the day. You have a lot to answer for.”

Note: Boyle has continuously criticized the Trump administration for “adding $4 trillion to the debt with their so-called ‘Big Beautiful Bill’” and for “making the biggest cuts to health care in American history.”
Aiming his criticism at spending and inequality, Boyle writes, “Now, they’ve started a reckless war. Prices are rising even higher, and millions of Americans can’t get the care they need. But if you’re a billionaire? Republicans gave you massive tax breaks.”
