The rapper is in the middle of her successful <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/cardi-b-spills-prepping-early-little-miss-drama-tour.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>“Little Miss Drama” tour,</a> is making appearances on magazine covers and late-night television, and just brought a pop-up to fans in her old stomping grounds of the Bronx. </p>
<p id=”par-2_69″>The pop-up event, which promoted Cardi’s new hair care line Grow Good Beauty, took place on March 25 outside New York’s future Hip-Hop Museum and drew large crowds who stood in lines for hours to see the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker. Some even camped out overnight and were so excited to get their hands on a few products from Cardi’s new line, but that’s where the disappointment comes from. </p>

<p id=”par-3_27″>As <a href=”https://bronx.news12.com/cardi-bs-beauty-supply-tour-bus-to-visit-hip-hop-museum-in-the-bronx” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>News 12</a> reported, what people lined up for was a photo op with the star but no chance to buy her hair and beauty products. </p>
<p id=”par-4_38″>A number of fans spoke to the outlet and said while they were of course happy to see and get a pic with Cardi, they were “disappointed” that they could not purchase anything from her new collection. </p>
<p id=”par-5_14″>“I’m disappointed. I’ve been here since 8:17 in the morning,” one fan shared. </p>
<p id=”par-6_40″>Another added, “That’s the misconception about the post, about everything. That’s why everybody is upset. Everybody is getting off the line. There’s no actual products being sold at this pop-up. I thought that was the whole point of the situation.”</p>

<p id=”par-7_29″>According to Cardi, she will be bringing her pop-up to other cities over the next couple of weeks. The official launch date for her products is April 15. </p>
<p id=”par-8_77″>Grow Good Beauty is inspired by the rap star’s Dominican roots, which is what has Erika Ramirez-Calderon ready to give the products a try, explaining, “As a Hispanic woman, we get a lot of lash on the textures of our hair, and a lot of people are not knowledgeable on the textures of our hair. I love that she knows her hair texture. She’s supporting us together as a Latina woman and how to care for ourselves.”</p>
