Now, allegations regarding a third separate incident between Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, have come to light. <p id=”par-2_39″>In 2023, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/the-next-the-bachelorette-star-a-look-back-at-taylor-frankie-pauls-domestic-violence-arrest.html/”>police arrested Paul</a> following an altercation between herself and Mortensen. Recently leaked footage of the incident shows Paul hitting and choking Mortensen before throwing chairs at him. Her daughter was present in the room at the time. </p>
<p id=”par-3_34″>Paul received misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child. She pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated assault, and the other charges were dropped.</p>

Police are still looking into the matter.</p>

Per <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/pop-culture-news/taylor-frankie-paul-investigation-connection-allegation-third-domestic-rcna265035″ rel=”noreferrer noopener”>NBC News</a>, Mortensen contacted the West Jordan, Utah, Police Department last month. He made allegations against Paul regarding a 2024 incident. Investigators have reportedly spoken to Paul’s attorneys, but they have not had a conversation with her yet. They are currently reviewing a series of videos of the incident to determine a timeline.</p>
