On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Los Angeles Angels by a score of 3-0 in their final spring training game.
They will now open up their 2026 regular season on Thursday when they host the Arizona Diamondbacks.

According to the MLB’s transaction page, the Dodgers have signed Jake Cousins to a contract.
Cousins last played in the MLB during the 2024 season when he went 2-1 with a 2.37 ERA in 37 games.

That said, he is currently recovering from injury.
Cousins wrote (via Instagram on June 19, 2025): “Thankful for a great TJ surgery yesterday with Dr. Meister and his team. On the way to recovery with the best at home care. Determined to come back better than ever!”
