Rylee Arnold has been in a romantic relationship with her boyfriend Walker Lyons for over two years now, but the pair recently underwent a major shift in their relationship after Lyons transferred from USC to BYU. Lyons, who is a tight end on the Cougars’ football team, announced the transfer during the winter break for NCAA universities. The change in his zip code has also left many fans to wonder if Rylee may ultimately decide to move back to her hometown of Provo, Utah – where her older sister and former ‘DWTS’ pro Lindsay Arnold Cusick currently resides – to be closer to Walker and her family.
However, it seems as though the couple is making their new chapter work despite having to become long-distance for the time being. In recognition of Walker’s birthday, Rylee recently took to her Instagram account to post a celebratory message to honor her longterm boyfriend.
In the caption of her post, Rylee Arnold says, “Happy birthday to my best friend and my love!!! I love you forever and ever.” The inclusion of an infinity sign to indicate the depth of her affection for Walker has made fans and observers aware that her relationship with the BYU tight end isn’t going to end any time soon and that even the distance of Lyons transferring from nearby USC in Los Angeles to BYU in Utah won’t change their dynamic.

On March 1, 2026, it was announced that Rylee Arnold would be joining the “Dancing with the Stars” tour despite earlier having said that she wouldn’t go on tour due to her ongoing management of Type 1 Diabetes. The announcement of Arnold joining the other ‘DWTS’ pros on tour came just weeks after Walker Lyons announced his intention to leave the USC Trojans football team to join the BYU Cougars football program.
Fans were excited by Arnold’s announcement of joining the ‘DWTS’ tour, with comments on the 20-year-old’s post saying, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!! Amazing news!!!!
