No. 2 San Ramon Valley 5, No. 6 Analy 0
A strong season for Berkeley (20-2-2) continues with a chance to win an NCS title at home Saturday against East Bay Athletic League power SRV (17-4-5).
After getting past No. 8 Archie Williams in the quarterfinals via a 4-3 advantage in penalty kicks, the Yellowjackets could breathe easier on Wednesday. Same for SRV, which eked out a 3-2 nailbiter over No. 7 Tamalpais in the quarters.
Division IV
Wednesday’s semifinals
No. 1 Petaluma 3, No. 5 Tennyson 0
Tennyson (10-6-6) couldn’t keep up with top seed Petaluma’s offense on Wednesday as Paxton Engelhardt scored once and Jordan Tetreau recorded a brace for the home team.
Zane Elie and Engelhardt had assists for Petaluma, which scored all its goals in the first half. Petaluma will face No. 2 Branson, which beat Piner 2-0 with goals by Jaya Breene and Cooper Little, for the D-IV championship on Saturday.

Division I
Wednesday’s semifinals
No. 1 Las Lomas 1, No. 12 Liberty 0 (OT)
Las Lomas (18-2-1) needed every bit of 80 minutes of regulation plus overtime to fend off underdog Liberty (14-3-3) and advance to the Division I final on Wednesday in Walnut Creek.
Violet Keeperman scored the winning goal six minutes into the overtime period, according to the Brentwood Press, sealing the win for Las Lomas. Keeperman’s goal snapped an eight-match shutout streak for Liberty.
No. 3 San Ramon Valley 2, No. 2 Ukiah 1
SRV (12-3-2) had to work hard for its semifinal win over Ukiah after going down 1-0 when Ukiah’s Allie Huff scored the opening goal. But the Wolves responded in style, as Payton Gambs buried a set piece from 30 yards out to tie the game in the 61st minute.
Five minutes later, Ashley Dodson gave SRV the lead and the game-winner on a “laser” shot in the 66th, according to SRV coach Mark Jones.
Emma Henzi closed out the win for SRV in goal, finishing with five saves.
Division IV
Wednesday’s semifinals
No. 4 Benicia 3, No. 1 El Cerrito 1
Benicia (9-9-1) overpowered El Cerrito (12-6-2) on the score sheet Wednesday night to pick up the upset win on the road, earning a trip to Terra Linda to face the No. 2 seed in the field for the D-IV title on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Emily Santos scored the final goal of the season for El Cerrito.
