<p id=”par-3_42″>“After two seasons as a cast member on <em>RHOC</em>, the network has decided to move forward with Season 20 without me,” Ginella wrote in a statement shared on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DTT0kM8AY1F/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. “While disappointing, it’s not entirely surprising after seeing how Season 19 played out.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_24″>Ginella added that she was “incredibly grateful for the love and support I received,” noting that those efforts are “seen, felt, and deeply appreciated.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_31″>“Representation matters, and I’m proud to have shown up authentically, even when it wasn’t easy,” she added. “This chapter may be closing, but my voice and my story don’t end there.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_37″>Ginella joined <em>RHOC </em>in season 18. She did not have an easy time bonding with her fellow castmates, particularly <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/emily-simpson-says-rhoc-season-19-will-discuss-her-sons-eating-disorder.html/”>Emily Simpson</a>. The two women clashed after Ginella’s daughter posted disparaging comments about <em>RHOC </em>cast members on Instagram. </p>
<p id=”par-7_47″>Ginella also had conflict with Gretchen Rossi and Jennifer Pedranti after the pair posted a racially insensitive video in which they mocked Asian facial features and performed fake martial arts moves. The video – which was eventually taken down – was “very inappropriate,” Ginella told <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2026/01/09/entertainment/katie-ginella-fired-from-rhoc-after-2-seasons/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Page Six</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-8_50″>“It’s brought me back to feeling like how I felt growing up a lot,” she said. “You know, I’m the very first Asian American on <em>Orange County</em>. I’m the very first Korean adoptee. And so being singled out from this cast, it’s all too familiar, the feelings and all that.”</p>

<p id=”par-9_13″>One Orange County Housewife who Ginella did get along with was Tamra Judge.</p>
<p id=”par-10_12″>“I love you,” Judge commented on Ginella’s post. “Thankful for our friendship.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_18″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rhoc-fans-celebrate-rumors-alexis-bellino-called-wedding-john-janssen.html/”><em>RHOC </em>alum Alexis Bellino</a>, who appeared as a friend in season 18, also had kind words for Ginella. </p>
<p id=”par-12_16″>“You left with fans wanting more of you! Thats the best place to be!” she wrote. </p>
<p id=”par-13_12″>Ginella also received supportive comments from cast members from other Bravo shows. </p>
<p id=”par-14_9″><em>RHONJ </em>star Melissa Gorga reacted with two crying emojis. </p>
<p id=”par-15_12″>“Travesty. I’m so sorry babe! Love you!” wrote <em>The Valley</em>’s Zack Wickham.</p>
<p id=”par-16_10″>“I am so sad to hear,” commented <em>RHOSLC</em>’s Bronwyn Newport.</p>
<p id=”par-17_26″>Bravo has not announced a premiere date or cast for <em>RHOC </em>Season 20. However, OG Housewife Vicki Gunvalson will return, Andy Cohen announced at BravoCon 2025. </p>
