Magnitude 3.0 earthquake jolts East Bay

DUBLIN – A magnitude 3.0 earthquake jolted the East Bay on Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck just before 5 p.m. about three miles west of Dublin, the USGS reported.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The earthquake was felt as far away as San Francisco, Fremont and Healdsburg, according to the USGS.
