A new buy-a-day/get-a-day discount offer will let Universal Studios Hollywood visitors double their fun when they purchase a one-day ticket that includes a free return visit later this year to the movie theme park.
The Universal ticket deal starts on Thursday, March 27 and the offer continues through Aug. 13.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Universal ticket offer that could save you up to $154 depending on the dates you choose to visit the park.
The first ticket will be good for the date selected while the free ticket can be used on select dates through Dec. 17.
That first ticket will cost anywhere between $109 to $154 depending on which date you choose for your first visit.
The second ticket can be used on a return visit that doesn’t fall on one of 19 blockout dates.
The 2025 blockout dates include:
- April 26
- May 3, 10, 17
- July 5, 12, 19, 26
- Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27
- Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25
- Nov. 26, 28 and 29
All of the blockout dates fall on Saturdays except in November — when they fall during Thanksgiving week.
The second ticket can’t be used during the Christmas season — with the deal ending on Dec. 17.

There are 11 dates in April and May when Universal visitors can buy tickets for $109 for their first trip to the park, all of them on weekdays.
None of the blockout dates in April through October fall on the most expensive $154 ticket days. There are plenty of non-blockout dates that fall on Saturdays throughout the year for your second visit.
