<p id=”par-1_9″>Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/celebrity-relationships/”>tied the knot</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-2_25″>The <em>Magazine Dreams </em>star confirmed the big news during a chat with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/sherri-shepherd-declares-time-promo-new-daytime-show-replacing-wendy-williams-slot.html/”>Sherri Shepherd</a> on Wednesday (via <a href=”https://youtu.be/wuvy6P5299E?feature=shared” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>YouTube</a>), revealing that his mom officiated the ceremony.</p>
<p id=”par-3_78″>“It was always the plan,” Majors said after the talk show host asked about reports that he and his girlfriend had gotten married the previous day. “My mother’s a pastor, and she came from Dallas where I’m from … she came to the [<em>Magazine Dreams</em>] premiere, the LA screening. My mother had never been to one of my screenings. And we had told her, ‘Hey, we’re gonna do this thing.’ And we did. My mother married us yesterday.” </p>
<p id=”par-4_13″>“We finally got to do it,” he added. “It was always the plan.” </p>
<p id=”par-5_33″>Majors – who is attempting a career comeback following his 2023 conviction for <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/meagan-good-jonathan-majors-leaves-court-sentencing.html/”>assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari</a> – told Shepherd that his wedding day “might be the happiest day of my life.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_10″>“I love that woman so much,” he added, tearing up. </p>

<p id=”par-7_65″>Good has stood by Majors’ side during <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/jonathan-majors-controversies-impacted-net-worth.html/”>his recent controversies</a> and was in court when he was convicted of assaulting Jabbari. Meanwhile, the fallout from that 2022 incident continues to affect Majors’ life and career. Shortly before Majors announced his marriage, <a href=”https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-features/jonathan-majors-audio-strangling-ex-girlfriend-1235297615/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Rolling Stone</a> published a report describing a leaked audio recording where the former Marvel star appeared to confess to being violent toward his ex. </p>
<p id=”par-8_24″>“I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you,” Majors reportedly tells Jabbari on the tape. </p>
<p id=”par-9_13″>Jabbari tells Majors that he “strangled” her and “pushed me against the car.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_11″>“Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed’ …,” he replies. </p>
<p id=”par-11_17″>Majors touched on the recording during his conversation with Shepherd, though he didn’t address its contents directly. </p>
<p id=”par-12_29″>“God has a plan. And sometimes you just throw your hands up, “ he said. “I can’t speak about it, you know. But I do know there’s a plan.”</p>
