LAPD searching for Metro B Line stabbing suspect

Police searched for a suspect who allegedly stabbed a passenger on a Metro B Line train in Studio City.

Los Angeles police officers were called to a station at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, near Lankershim Boulevard after the suspected stabbing, NBC 4 reported.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital.

The Metro station was closed for several hours while police investigated the stabbing, reopening it after 4 a.m. Wednesday, March 19.

“Metro extends its wishes for a quick recovery to the victim and thanks the Los Angeles police and fire departments for their prompt response,” spokesman Dave Sotero said.
